To make sure any fragile items you want to post get to their destination safely, we recommend shipper to follow some parcel packing guidelines. These tips will helps minimise of risks of damages during the loading, unloading and transit of goods under bad weathers, poor road conditions and other hazardous and accidents.

DO's

Use strong and undamaged cardboard boxes.

Use dividers when sending more than one items.

Close proper and secure the box with packaging tape.

Select a cardboard box of appropriate size and shape.

Peel off the old labels from the used cardboard box.

Wrap in bubble foil individual items in the shipment.

Use packaging chips for sealing.

Use envelopes with bubbles.


DONT's

Do not use old and damaged boxes.

Do not send items in gift packaging.

The "fragile" label does not substitute the reliable package.

Remember to seal the goods in the cardboard box.

Remember to remove old labels.

Do not overfill the cardboard box.

Do not send prohibited and dangerous goods.

Do not use bags for outer packaging.

STANDARD OF PACKAGING

  1. Wrapping each item individually with a bubble wrap (at least wrap the item with 3 layers of bubble wrap) and carefully placing it in a double thickness box. It is advisable to use "an industrial bubble wrap".

  2. Next, after use the "bubble wrap", we suggest you to use "PE Stretch Film" in order to maximize the protection as to avoid the impact from other heavy shipment.

  3. Kindly put the box inside the other box (Box-in-Box Packaging Method) as to protect the inside box and item from damage.

  4. Basic Box-In-Box Packaging Method

    1. Wrap product/item individually with at least 3 layers of bubble wrap/ 2" (5.08 cm) thickness of bubble wrap or foam material to fit snugly inside a corrugated box. (See Figure 1)
    2. Use a second, outer container that is at least 6" (15.24 cm) longer, wider and deeper than the inner box.
    3. Fill the bottom, sides and upper of the outer box with 2" to 3" (5.08cm cm to 7.62 cm) of cushioning material.
    4. Place the inner box in the center of the outer box on top of the cushioning material.
    5. Fill voids of all sides with more cushioning material (e.g loose-fill materials/foam materials/ Styrofoam balls.
    6. Seal box.
